Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage and oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to track and report key performance indicators.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Honours degree and completed articles are required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial accounting role within a manufacturing environment or manufacturing plant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
