As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will handle a variety of accounting functions, including reporting, auditing, and consolidation processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Registered Chartered Accountant CA (SA) with a solid foundation of post-article experience to further their career in the retail sector.Duties:
- Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the internal and external audit processes. Prepare necessary documentation and support the auditors in ensuring accurate and timely audits.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts. Provide insights and analysis to support financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in financial records.
- Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant
- A minimum 1 years of post-article knowledge
