Financial Accountant

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reviews
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management
- Manage the audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Ensure accurate and timely VAT and tax submissions
- Maintain internal controls and ensure continuous improvement of financial processes
- BCom in Accounting or Finance (CA(SA) qualification preferred)
- Minimum 3 years post-articles experience
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., Pastel, Syspro, SAP, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
