Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to guide strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with South African tax laws, IFRS standards, and financial regulations.
• Manage and monitor cash flow, ensuring sufficient working capital for operational needs.
• Liaise with external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage the finance team, ensuring efficient operation and performance.
• Conduct financial risk assessments and propose measures for risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with executive management to align financial strategy with overall business objectives.

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
• Completed SAICA articles.
• Membership with a recognised professional body such as:

• South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)
• South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA)
• Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
• Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIA SA)
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and relevant tax laws.
• Proficiency in financial software such as Sage, SAP, or Pastel.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
