A manufacturing company is currently seeking an Accountant to join their finance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and analyzing all local Accounts Payable, including AP, debit orders, credit cards, and Fixed Asset registers on a monthly basis. You will also provide timely cost variance reports to the EXCO, oversee the open order system (P2P), and assist the Financial Controller with budget preparation and management. In addition, youll support project management, monitor project costs, process and reconcile bank accounts (cash book), and manage the reconciliation of pre-payments, held deposits, lease administration, and accruals.As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Process all expense invoices daily
• Prepare accounts payable reconciliations before payments
• Analyze expenses for validity and approval
• Perform monthly age analysis
• Upload Seiko payment details to Standard Bank Business Online
• Regularly update vendor master data in SAP
• Maintain consistent communication with suppliers
• Review and reconcile all credit card expenses
• Manage credit card applications and resolve related inquiries
• Record daily bank transactions in the cash book
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate any unidentifiable transactions
• Record purchases, scrapping, and sales of fixed assets
• Calculate depreciation monthly
• Conduct regular asset verifications
• Maintain and update the Capex file
• Manage the companys asset monitoring system and provide staff training
• Support the Financial Controller in budget planning and related calculations

Qualifications and Skills:
Completed Bcom in Finance
