Job Description
Job SummaryKey Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with IFRS and industry best practices.
- Manage and reconcile property-related accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple property portfolios.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with financial regulations and year-end audit requirements.
- Provide insights into financial trends and contribute to strategic property investment decisions.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification (CIMA/SAIPA/SAICA) completed or in progress.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in financial accounting, ideally within the property, real estate, or asset management sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and property-related financial principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; experience with property management systems is an advantage.
