Accountant:Full accounting function which Includes:Cashbook to General LedgerProcessing of journalsCost analysis - Effective management of cost and/or profit centresManagement of the cost budgetsMonthly reporting of costs per cost and/or profit centreControlling of the effective and accurate reporting per cost / profit centreComparison and reporting of deviations against budget.Effective management of month end procedures.Monthly Reconciliations:VATCreditorsDebtorsCash and bankBalance Sheet other accountsMonthly intercompany reconciliation and confirmationsCashflow managementMonthly/Bi-monthly VAT 201 returnsAsset Registercredit applicationsPayment and recording of Head Office CostsAssisting the Financial Manager with:The annual auditPayroll taxes (EMP 501 + EMP 201 and ad hoc reports)Maintaining an audit trailTimeous resolving of queries.Personal Attributes:Highly motivated individual that can work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.Good with numbers and meticulous attention to detail.Good Administration skillsProblem solving skills.Interpersonal Skills Good people skills are required.Professionalism Exceptional conduct of self, with inherent loyalty and ability to maintainconfidentiality.Communication and language skills. Must have an above average command of bothAfrikaans and English proficiency.Requirements:Completed bachelors degree in accounting and articlesStrong Accounting skill and treasury experienceAt least 3-5 years applicable accounting experience.Bilingual, Afrikaans & EnglishSalary - +- R40 000pm CTC
