Reference No. 415 08 RR:Our client is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. This position involves managing financial records and reports, maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, daily financial entries and reconciliations, monthly VAT obligations, and preparation for audits. The successful candidate will be instrumental in financial forecasting and risk analysis. This is a pivotal role that requires attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities.Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts.

• Conduct monthly and weekly reconciliations of suppliers, including monitoring credit availability.

• Update and manage budgets involving creditors, debit orders, and cash payments.

• Oversee accounts receivable and payable activities.

• Review and verify customer invoices and supplier costings.

• Approve financial transactions and payments.

• Maintain daily updates of banking transactions on QuickBooks.

• Manage the balance sheet files specifically for the holding company and assist with other entities.

• Compile VAT submissions for multiple entities and manage SARS audit documentations.

• Submit EMP201 for all affiliated companies and handle quarterly State SA reports.

• Prepare internal financial statements and documentation for annual financial audits.

• Offer financial advice and support to various departments within the company.

• Calculate and submit annual Workman Compensation.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification accounting experience.

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Accounting / National Diploma / BTech in Accounting will also be considered. SAIPA registration is advantageous.

• Proficient in QuickBooks; candidates without prior experience will be trained.

• Experience in financial reporting and tax filing.

• Knowledge of the mining and metals industry is preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to manage subordinates and provide leadership within the finance department.
