Financial Accountant
Job Description
As the commercial accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
Manage and mitigate financial risks
Be apart of the annual budgeting processes
Revise estimates monthly and approve expenses which is in line with the budgets
Budgeting and forecasting
Do a technical accounting review
Prepare and review drafted statutory financial statements and consolidate financial statements
Liaise with external auditor
Review the internal control processes
Improve and drive team collaboration
Remain aware of new regulations and ensure compliance with various legislation
Work closely with managers and drive a culture of continuous improvementSkills & Experience:
Proficient Computer Literacy
Previous experience in the logistics industry would be beneficial
Experience working on programs such as Shipshape, Pastel Evolution and SAGEQualification:
BCom Honours degree
