Job Description
Our client is offering an excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Manager: Trading and will be based in Stellenbosch, with occasional work required at the Mpumalanga site.Requirements:
- Accounting qualification with completed SAICA/CIMA articles.
- Honours degree will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar industry/position.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent planning and organisational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to Mpumalanga.
- Preparation of annual budgets for certain entities.
- Managing and preparing for the annual audit.
- Monthly reporting for selected entities.
- Implementing controls to monitor expenses.
- Preparing monthly variance reports.
- Managing administrative staff.
- Overseeing the allocation of expenses by entity and department.
- Ensuring compliance with all tax and statutory requirements.
- Managing cash flow for each entity.
- Conducting break-even calculations and various simulation calculations.
