Mason is expanding its consulting services, offering expertise in structuring, administration and accounting, including bookkeeping services, to investors and businesses.
Responsibilities
:
As a key member of Mason, the candidate will assist the founders of Mason with a range of financial and administrative tasks. There is scope for significant career progression and development of the candidate and the role.
Key Roles:
Managing bookkeeping and other administrative services for clients in the UK, South Africa and elsewhere to ensure accurate recording and tracking of financials, including compliance with tax and government filings as well as multi-currency processing.
Recording and tracking finances, including budgeting, investors, portfolio management, internal performance metrics, monthly management accounts and general systems administration.
Maintaining and helping to improve internal systems, covering financial aspects, technology, and general operations.
Supporting on general administration as needed.
Candidate Profile
University degree with an accounting qualification with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in accounting and / or finance. Working knowledge of Sage, Xero and other similar accounting systems. Software skills (Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, OneDrive, others welcome). Financial skills (financial analysis, Excel modelling).
