About Us:
Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing company within the financial services sector. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in driving our financial strategy and ensuring sustainable growth.Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports to senior management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis between actuals and forecasts, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
• Cost Management: Monitor and analyze costs to ensure they align with budgetary constraints, recommending cost-saving initiatives where applicable.
• Investment Analysis: Assess and evaluate investment opportunities, conducting detailed financial analysis and risk assessments to guide decision-making.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic financial initiatives that align with the companys goals.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all financial practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Financial Modelling: Create robust financial models to evaluate business scenarios and support strategic decision-making processes.
• Data Analysis: Extract and interpret complex data from various sources, providing actionable insights to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Certification: CIMA or CA(SA) qualification is mandatory.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a corporate or consulting environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial analysis and reporting.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-driven and able to work independently.
