Financial Analyst

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations and Finance Analyst to support our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing data, developing financial and operational reports, and assisting in various operational tasks to enhance efficiency and performance of the company's African branches.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyse monthly financial reports and operational metrics to identify trends and insights. Monitor compliance by the branches with reporting deadlines and procedures and take corrective measures where needed. Support the operations management team with administrative tasks and financial reporting. Liaise with branch managers, local staff and head office accounting staff. Review and approve staff loans for the African branches. Develop and maintain (financial) reports. Assist the branches with financial and operational queries. Perform 1-2 week operational and financial audits on site at our African branches (planned and as the need arises).
REQUIREMENTS
BCom honours degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in auditing and/or accounting.
Proven experience in financial analysis and report generation.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software.
Excellent communication and organizational skil
ls. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
SAIPA or (studying towards) CIMA Experience in operations management or a related field. Knowledge of financial modelling and forecasting. Familiarity with ERP systems and data management tools.
