Job Description

From holidaymakers to full-time landlords, host happiness is central to everything we do.Responsibilities:

  • Perform P&L and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Post journal entries
  • Add invoices into our system (Xero)
  • Collaborate with third-party accounting service providers
  • Assist with international compliance, ensuring all necessary tax filings and registrations are completed
  • Reconcile inter-company loans
  • Process payments, post related entries, and reconcile payment processing providers
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure accurate reporting
  • Collaborate on the preparation of the monthly consolidated board pack
  • Assist with end-of-month balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts
  • Assist in developing and implementing financial controls and processes
  • Support the Group Financial Controller with various ad hoc projects
  • Work collaboratively with global teams across the organization
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of finance team experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • Good understanding of financial metrics and accounting principles;
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred;
  • Part-qualified is an advantage (ACCA, AAT, CIMA, ATT, or other relevant board);
  • Adaptable, driven, hardworking, proactive, and able to show initiative;
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail, able to work independently;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • A natural problem solver who can develop creative solutions to complex problems;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-starter environment and meet deadlines;
  • Experience in startups is an advantage
