Job Title:
Financial Assistant (Pretoria)
Key Responsibilities:
xc2xb7 Capturing of expenses and claims on Pastel and excel sheets (Goods Received Vouchers, Invoices, Credit Notes, Return
xc2xb7 to Suppliers)
xc2xb7 Assist with creditors reconciliations and allocations
xc2xb7 Basic Bookkeeping (including bank reconciliations)
xc2xb7 Assist in monthly financial reporting (expense reports, asset list updating, stock takes, etc)
xc2xb7 Prepare documents for banks and other institutions
xc2xb7 Other financial tasks
Qualifications and Requirements:
xc2xb7 Matric Essential
xc2xb7 Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
xc2xb7 Computer Skills (Microsoft Office-Excel [Advanced], Word, Outlook)
xc2xb7 Pastel / Sage (Evolution) (2-year recent experience)
xc2xb7 Tertiary financial qualification will be an advantage
xc2xb7 Excellent Financial Skills (Back Office)
xc2xb7 Proficient organising and time management skills
xc2xb7 Deadline orientated with composure to work under pressure
xc2xb7 Ability to work effectively and efficiently
xc2xb7 Good verbal and written communication skills
xc2xb7 Honest and reliable
xc2xb7 Punctual, Accurate and Strong attention to detail
xc2xb7 Strong interpersonal skills (with customers, suppliers, and team members)
