Financial ControllerOur client, a prominent investment holding company operating in the FMCG industry, is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in the Plattekloof area. This position will report directly to the Group Financial Manager.Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Overseeing, preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts
• Assistance with Cash flow forecasting systems and treasury management
• Assistance with Quarterly, Interim and Year-End reporting processes for the Group
• Assistance with the budgeting processes
• Preparation of weekly and monthly flash reports and commentary
• Prepare and assist with internal reporting documents
• Prepare and assist with quarterly reporting for internal business unit board meetings
• Preparation of monthly consolidated group reports
• Management of the weekly approval process
• Management and monitor the Group CAPEX process
• Analysing and reviewing financial data, detail investigations and identifying areas for investigation
• Liaise with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and other relevant external parties
• Management and upkeep of the BI platform
• Management of the SARS notifications in the Group
• Review payments
• Ad-hoc assistance to the finance team, as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Newly qualified CIMA or similar qualification
• 1-3 years of experience within a similar position.
• Interest/knowledge in Prophix, Lease Tracker and Qlik applications will be advantageous
• Able to support multiple work streams in the month-end close process
