A completed B.Com (Accounting / similar) is a minimum requirement, coupled with 5 years management experience in the Manufacturing / Operations or Recycling industry. JD Edwards experience essential. KPI's include : ensuring the timely and accurate review and preparation of management accounts and reports for management; manage financial controls; ensuring compliance t VAT, tax, customs, IFRS, policies and procedures, risk and implement corrective measures for non-compliance; maintain the integrity of the financial systems; manage and lead staff; manage capex applications; ensure up to date status of records for year-end including debtors, creditors and fixed assets of the region; resolve reconciling terms on debtors and creditors; ensure stock procedures are followed; approving and monitoring expenses in line with group policy; ensure adequate policies and procedures are in place; manage the month-end and year-end accounting process; budgeting and forecasting; preparation of the weekly flash; manage the payment process for waste and trade creditors; assist with commercial related decisions and support the Regional and Branch Managers with regards to financial decision-making.
