Job Description
Job Summary Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Financial Accountant/Financial Controller
- Afrikaans/English speaking
- Excellent excel skills
- Strong personality and ability to handle pressure
- BCom Accounting Degree
- Automotive industry experience advantageous
- Bank Statements
- Provide daily bank balances for management
- Mail reconciled statements for Salesforce updates
- Allocate bank transactions in Acumatica
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Purchase Orders and Bills
- Process invoices
- Create RFPs and purchase orders for required payments
- Add new customers in Acumatica
- Generate and process bills daily
- Banking
- Release and manage funds in investment accounts
- Load and update investment payments
- Assist with payment release checks
- Handle petty cash and staff refunds
- Upload daily payments
- Fixed Assets
- Depreciate assets monthly
- Maintain an accurate fixed asset register
- Reconciliation
- Reconcile various reports between Salesforce and Acumatica
- Submit monthly VAT reports
- Calculate monthly sales commissions
- Reconcile asset progress, stock accounts, suspense accounts, and intercompany loans
- Perform daily and bi-weekly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Adhoc Tasks
- Conduct daily account verification
- Prepare monthly forecasts and results
- Address financial queries
- Assist external auditors
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
