Job Description

A multinational freight conglomerate seeks to employ a Financial Controller to join their South African team based in Johannesburg East. If you have a passion for imports and exports, and understand the disbursement processes around it, then we are looking for you!POSITION INFO:
You will be responsible for maintaining standards of internal control in the disbursements management process.Other duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure the completeness of accounting postings, payments and the integrity of group disbursement data
• Monitor all disbursement activities
• Track and monitor implementation of disbursement function related audit recommendations
• Lead and coordinate the training of disbursement personnel
• Ensure the smooth running of disbursement practices regionally
• Ensure quality and consistency of disbursement reports
• Provide analytical and data management support for group disbursement
• Prepare and monitor monthly KPIs
• Cluster review provisions
• Set up internal control systems and policies for financial reporting
• Month-end reporting

Education:

• BCom degree in Accounting or

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
• 3 to 4 years' experience within a controlling finance role
• Experience in disbursement audit required
• Strong accounting and computer literacy
• Strong Advanced Excel skills
• Attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Team player
• Deadline driven
• Effectively works under pressure
