An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join a leading company in the agriculture sector. This role is perfect for a finance professional who thrives in a diverse, multicultural environment and has the ability to oversee the full finance function. The company is rapidly growing and is known for its dynamic environment and commitment to employee well-being and professional growth.
Other duties include:
- Develop and supervise internal financial systems.
- Review and correct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts.
- Oversee fixed assets and maintain the asset register.
- Lead audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
- Review monthly VAT returns and prepare Annual Financial Statements.
- Conduct financial reporting and analysis of sales, costs, and variances.
- Mentor finance staff and drive continuous improvement in accounting procedures.
- Completed BCom degree
- Completed articles is highly recommended
- At least 8 years of commercial experience
- Exposure to working in Africa preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
