Job Description
Are you a qualified Chartered Accountant with a passion for finance and a desire to make a significant impact in the banking sector?Join a dynamic finance team, where your expertise will drive financial excellence, strategic initiatives, and risk management across our organization. As a Finance Controller, you will play a key role in shaping the financial future of one of the largest banks in the country.Duties:
- Reconcile and substantiate the balance sheet and income statement monthly for group finance and annually for external audits
- Implementation of change projects aimed at improving month-end reporting and controls
- Assess the risk of business on-and-off balance sheet exposures
- Ensure that risk is managed and mitigated in alignment with the bank's credit policy
- Revenue reporting
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- CA(SA)
- At least 5 years post article experience in a similar role
- Experience working at a bank is essential
