Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reports
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform detailed cost and variance analysis, providing actionable insights
- Monitor and improve internal controls within the finance department
- Manage working capital and cash flow requirements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations
- Coordinate and manage the year-end audit process
- Assist with strategic financial planning and decision-making
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team
- BCom Honours in Accounting or Finance
- Completed articles (SAICA/SAIPA)
- 3-5 years of experience in a financial management role within the manufacturing sector
- Strong knowledge of costing, inventory management, and manufacturing finance
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Syspro, SAP, or similar)
- Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with a high attention to detail
