Job Description

Responsible for managing and maintaining all Accounting & Finance Operations to ensure Financial Accuracy in Analysis and Reporting thereof.Required Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• CA or SAIPA or CIMA or ACCA
• Minimum of 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role within a commercial environment

Must have:

• Manufacturing industry experience
• Experience in developing and implementing business intelligence or analytics solutions preferable
• Experience with data and financial analytics preferable
• Must have ERP systems, preferably Sage X3 or Sap experience

POSITION INFO:Technical Competencies & Experience:

• Oversee billing, reconciliations, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, and revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Researching & resolving of complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (IFRS).
• Managing working capital, prepare cash flow projections, and optimize cash flow to support operational needs.
• Support costing and pricing exercises, providing accurate financial data to inform decision-making
• Design and document efficient business processes & accounting policies
• Maintaining & strengthening internal controls over financial transactions and reporting, mitigating risk and ensuring data integrity.
• Leading of month-end and year-end close processes including assisting with the preparation of the annual financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Prepare monthly journals, assist with cost-saving initiatives, contribute to B-BBEE compliance efforts and other tasks as they may arise.
• Prepare timely monthly management accounts with comprehensive analysis, highlighting key trends and variances.
• Develop accurate budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and provide insightful variance analysis.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting, ensuring adherence to local government requirements and tax filings.
