Financial Controller
Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Controller for our esteemed client based in Pretoria North. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in a growing organization within the manufacturing and automotive industry. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate and efficient financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth. You will be responsible for managing cost structures, budgeting, forecasting, and all aspects of financial accounting in a fast-paced environment.Duties:
- Preparation and management of financial statements in compliance with accounting principles and regulatory standards.
- Cost management and budgeting to support the business in making informed financial decisions.
- Manage and monitor Bill of Materials (BOMs), ensuring accuracy and integrity in costings and stock management.
- Oversee the costing of products and ensure the companys pricing strategies are aligned with industry standards.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities within the manufacturing processes.
- Qualifications:
- Completed BCom Degree (essential)
- Completed or studying CIMA (essential)
- Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and costing methods in a manufacturing environment (essential)
- At least 7 years of proven experience in financial accounting, budgeting, and cost analysis within the manufacturing or automotive industry
