Position OverviewNFB Private Wealth Management JHB is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in the financial consulting business unit. The ideal candidate will have a proven accounting track record, client service experience, and expertise in using Xero. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Johannesburg.Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, and company policies.
• Prepare detailed financial models; review and present financial reports, annual financials and forecasts.
• Review reconciliations, manage accounts payable and shareholder loans and oversee payroll processes for clients.
• Managing accounting processes to ensure quality control for financial reporting and annual financial preparation.
• Preparing company tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax filings.
• Working closely with external auditors and business administration for key quality client service.
• Engage with external consulting clients and ensure high levels of service.
• Collaborate with other internal business units to support business decisions.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in accounting and/or bookkeeping roles.
• Certifications: Membership with CIMA, SAIBA, or an equivalent professional body is mandatory.
• Qualifications: Relevant industry qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Software Expertise: A minimum of 2 years of detailed experience with Xero is required.
• Client Service: Proven experience in client engagement and service excellence.
• Availability: This is an office based role due to business and client needs
