My client is on the hunt for a dynamic Controller to lead a talented team and oversee the entire finance function. If you're looking for a role that demands excellence, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach, this is your opportunity!Rotation: 10 weeks on, 3 weeks off
Location: Kibali, DRCKey Responsibilities:
- Own the balance sheet, P&L, and all technical accounting duties
- Address and resolve queries from DRC tax authorities
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly finance reporting
- Implement and enforce strict finance procedures
- Develop and evaluate profit plans for new business ventures
- Analyse financial performance trends and recommend improvements
- Identify and mitigate key financial risks within the group
- Collaborate with the Group finance team and local finance teams
- Provide innovative solutions to reduce costs and enhance financial performance
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally with audit exposure
- Finance Degree (
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong presentation skills and ability to thrive under pressure
- Hands-on approach with a keen understanding of operations
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable
- Strategic thinker with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
