We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of management experience in the financial services sector, with expertise in dealing with SARS-related issues, financial reporting, accounting, and department management.Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and timely submission of accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• SARS Compliance: Manage all SARS-related issues, including tax filings, audits, and ensuring compliance with South African tax regulations.
• Financial Accounting: Lead the financial accounting function, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial records and transactions.
• Department Management: Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the companyxe2x80x99s assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the companyxe2x80x99s goals.
• Cost Management: Monitor and control costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency and savings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Masterxe2x80x99s preferred).
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of South African tax regulations and experience dealing with SARS.
• Proficiency in financial management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
