:THE JOB AT A GLANCE:This role will partner with the Bakery Financial Director to provide financial support in all aspects of the business including supply chain, sales and distribution, marketing/ innovation / NPD & pricing scenarios. This role is also focused on ensuring all necessary procedures and policies are in place and are properly followed at a Bakery level.Responsibilities:WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:Key Attributes and Competencies

  • Establish and lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast process of the individual Bakeries including all manufacturing sites and stocklocations associated with the business unit.
  • Consolidate and review the weekly Bakeries results. Gain insights from the weekly results and use these insights to assist the FD to drive Bakery performance
  • Monthly/ weekly reporting of the Bakery Supply chain KPI's.
  • Monthly/ weekly reporting of the Bakery Sales and Distribution KPI's.
  • Provide financial inputsand ad-hoc reportson all business-related activities
  • Provide support and input into business Capex projects by running DCF modules and evaluate Capex assumptions.
  • Implement and maintain proper financial systems and controls in conjunction with the Risk and Control Manager and the Bakery Accountants.
  • Drive standardization and training on key control and systems through regular interaction with the Bakery Accounting team. (This team have a dotted reporting line into this position).
  • SKU COS Cpl analysis and review
  • Driver balance review and engagement with relevant bakeries
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) savings assess, review and reporting
  • Review route profitability,
  • Naked Margin performance analysis for Marketing
  • Prepare and review conversion cost performance to Supply Chain
Qualifications:ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • CA/(SA), or CA(SA)
  • Strong communication skills,leadership and coachingskills
  • Business analytical skills
  • Strong Finance business background
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets and word processing required.
  • Be able to make sound, independent judgements.
Experience
  • 3 - 5 years relevant FMCG management accounting
Experience in multiple categories
  • 2 - 3 years relevant FMCG management accounting experience in single category
