Our client is looking to employ a half day Financial Manager to join their dynamic team based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Implement financial controls to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of the financial data.xc2xb7 Sales invoicing and capturing supplier invoices.xc2xb7 Bank reconciliations.xc2xb7 Drafting of monthly management accounts.xc2xb7 Liaison with stores to ensure the stock valuation.xc2xb7 Provide insight on balance sheet and income statement, including the analysis of actual vs budgeted financials.xc2xb7 Preparation and submission of SARS returns, namely VAT, PAYE, Income Tax and Provisional Tax.xc2xb7 Ensure SARS and CIPC compliance.xc2xb7 Prepare Debtors and Creditors listing to ensure the accuracy of the processes.xc2xb7 Conduct monthly reconciliations for balance sheet and income statements as well as the VAT reconciliations.xc2xb7 Payroll calculations and payslips.xc2xb7 Prepare annual statutory audit files and address audit queries.xc2xb7 Prepare annual trial balance and financials.xc2xb7 Assist in annual budgeting exercises.xc2xb7 Review financial contracts with suppliers and customers.Requirements:xc2xb7 Matric certificatexc2xb7 Degree or Diploma in Accountingxc2xb7 3 - 5 years relevant working experiencexc2xb7 Experience with South African Companies Act, Corporate Governance or IFRS.xc2xb7 Ability to work in a team.xc2xb7 Proficiency in Excel and Pastel.xc2xb7 Bilingual in English and AfrikaansTo apply, please send your CV toPlease note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
