General Description of Position
This position is responsible for the financial management of the business and is accountable for the overall
financial business processes, procedures, and systems that include the day-to-day administration of all
transactional data, the monthly provision of management reports, the weekly/monthly/annual preparation of
information to meet the requirements of shareholders, clients, suppliers, SARS, B-BBEE and other legislative
intuitions where the presentation of financial information is required.The responsibilities of this position also include, inter alia:
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa The process and management of the day-to-day financial operations, such as payroll, invoicing, and
other transactions
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Overseeing financial department employees
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Contracting outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, etc.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Tracking the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Provide information and expectations to the business to aid decision-making and strategy development
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislationWork Experience Requirements
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa 5+ Years' Accounting/ Financial Management experience in a similar environment, of which at least 2-
3 years in a Team Leadership / Management Role.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa In-depth knowledge of Financial Management and taxation guidelines
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Ability to build relationships while asking tough questions
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Excellent written and oral communication ability, English and Afrikaans
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Strong time management and organizational skills
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Demonstrated ability with Power BIs, Smartform / Sharepoint
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Proven ability with BuildSmart
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaa Advanced computer literacy - Microsoft Outlook (PowerPoint / Excel / Word / Email)

B Degree NQF 8 specializing in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
