Financial Manager

Are you an experienced financial professional with a strong background in Accounts Receivable and Payable? Our client within the logistics industry is seeking a skilled Financial Manager to lead their shared services team based in the Southern suburbs of the Western Cape. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in managing financial processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, and driving efficiency within the shared services function. - Supervise the AR function, including invoice generation, collections, and reconciliation.
- Oversee the AP function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to AR and AP, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with IFRS.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Qualifications:
- BCom Accounting Degree
- SAICA or SAIPA articles required
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar role
