Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the company Head of Accounting and CFO as part of the team, managing the companys global accounting, tax, financial operations and compliance functions.
Prepare and review financial reporting, including ownership of the record to report process.
Work with global colleagues to ensure effective and compliant AR, AP, Treasury.
Be responsible for global Tax processes.
Improve financial controls and processes.
Prepare and implement technical accounting matters under IFRS.
Prepare and review required government remittances.
Work with external auditors to manage international and group audits.
Be a trusted business partner and advisor to other departments.
Design, implement and maintain improvements to the companys financial reporting systems, including software implementations.
Prepare and review key internal and external financial reports.
Be responsible for and drive key finance projects to completion.

Qualifications and Experience:

Prior experience with multi-entity financial audits
Experience in technology, retail, manufacturing a must
Experience working with IFRS or US GAAP
Professional qualification [CA(SA), ICAEW or similar]
Ambitious, intellectually curious and motivated to be part of building and scaling a global software company
Humble, low-ego and able to build trusted working relationships cross-functionally
