Job Description


Duties

  • Preparing financial statements
  • Examining and analyzing a company's accounts
  • Ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures
  • Collecting, tracking, and correcting the company's finances
  • Conducting financial audits and reconciling bank statements
  • Managing financial records and ensuring accurate reports
  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Assisting with tax reporting and filing, budgeting
  • Work with the auditors to finalise the audited financials
  • All statutory requirement for CIPC plus annual returns
  • Work closely with the financial institutions regarding bank accounts, limits etc.
The applicant will report to the CEO and Founder of all companies
