Our client in the Automation industry is seeking a well experienced Financial ManagerLocation: Eikenbosch, Cape TownKey requirement
- At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- B Com degree or other relevant qualifications
- ERP and financial systems
- Financial reporting& compliance
- Capital investment & asset management
- Funding and banking relations
- Financial planning, develop financial strategies that align with the company's business objectives
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and financial models
- Conduct financial risk assessments to mitigate potential financial threats financial threats
- Cost& profitability management-analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives
- Develop and refine pricing strategies for the machinery based on comprehensive costs analysis and market trends
- Assess the profitability of different product line and customer contracts
- Cash flow and working capital management-ensure optimal cash flow for daily operations, raw material procurement and equipment purchases
- Monitor accounts receivable & payable to prevent cash shortages
- Optimize working capital to improve liquidity
- Identify financial risks including exchange rate fluctuations and supplier risks
- Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement
- Develop contingency plans for economic downturns or supply chain disruptions
