Our client, a leading company in the agriculture industry in the Western Cape, is seeking a highly qualified Financial Manager to join their team. The role involves overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic support to the CFO. The successful candidate will be responsible, but not limited to, the following:
Prepare monthly management journals, depreciation and recoveries
Performing monthly reconciliations and checks to ensure integrity of financial information
Debtors, creditors and intercompany account maintenance, reconciliation and collection / payment
Compilation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs for stakeholders and external financial institutions
Management of annual external audit and preparation of statutory financial statements
Responsible for the completion and submission of monthly VAT / SARS returns for the company
Cash flow planning and management, budget preparation and forecastingSkills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in similar role
Power BI experience beneficialQualification:
Degree in Accounting or Financial Management degree
