Job Description
Our client, situated in the far East Rand, is currently seeking a Financial Manager CA(SA) to join their finance team. You will be required to perform duties to ensure compliance with Financial Administration, General Accepted Accounting Principles, Legislative Compliance, and Company policies and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Review management accounts and report on variances
- Review Balance sheet reconciliations and resolve queries
- Perform Analytics on the Masterfile Data
- Ensure that changes to Masterfile are timeously and accurately implemented
- Manage the Fixed Assets Team
- Perform Analytical Analysis on the Fixed Assets
- Assist with the correct application of Capital Allowances
- Ensure timeous reporting on the accounting and tax reconciliations
- Review payroll journals and general ledger entries
- Review EMP501 and IRP5 submissions
- Review calculations within payroll to ensure compliance with regulations and legislation
- Staff management
- Qualified CA(SA)
- 5 years of experience in a Financial Management role
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Industry: Finance and manufacturing
- Management in a Shared Services environment advantageous
- JDE and Hyperion System experience advantageous
