Job Description
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Financial Accounting (or a related field).
- 3 years articles with a medium-sized firm.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of commercial experience in the retail sector.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to manage and review work rather than performing tasks themselves, with a solid understanding of the work.
- Career stability is criticalxe2x80x94no history of job hopping.
- Must have experience managing staff.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly updates of the cash flow forecast.
- Timely and accurate reporting on cash flow.
- Analyze variances between forecasted and actual cash flow to mitigate risks.
- Oversee the annual budgeting process, including rolling budgets and forecasts.
- Provide support to the Group CFO and operational finance team as needed.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting and analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with foreign creditors and foreign exchange (advantageous).
- Up-to-date knowledge of full IFRS (advantageous).
