Head of Finance & Operations West Rand (On-Site)
Company Overview:
Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in the West Rand, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance & Operations to take on a strategic leadership role. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Finance Manager (FM) with a CA(SA) or CIMA qualification who is ready to step into a broader operational role, overseeing multiple departments including finance.Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership: Oversee the full financial function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Strategic Operations Management: Lead various operational departments to ensure efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with executive leadership to drive business growth and operational excellence.
• Manufacturing & Costing: Implement robust financial controls, cost management strategies, and operational efficiencies within the manufacturing environment.
• Process Improvement: Identify and drive automation and process enhancements to optimize financial and operational workflows.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing finance and operations team, fostering a hands-on and solutions-driven culture.

Key Requirements:

• Qualifications: CA(SA) or CIMA
• Experience:

• Proven track record as a Finance Manager (FM), ready for a strategic leadership role.
• Manufacturing industry experience is essential.
• Strong operational understanding with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Skills & Attributes:

• Hands-on leadership style with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to drive change and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
