My client, the DA, seeks to recruit a committed, dynamic, self-motivated and results driven Senior Provincial Finance Manager in Gauteng. The successful incumbent will report to the Provincial Director with an indirect reporting line to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Working in close collaboration with the Provincial Director and Chief Financial Officer to ensure the financial sustainability of the Province
• Effectively managing the following practices and processes in the Province:
• - Financial budgeting
• - Operational financial management
• - General accounting and transactional financial oversight
• - Financial reporting
• - Auditing and financial governance
• - Cashflow management

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent
• Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting required, with completed articles advantageous
• Minimum of 3 years' financial management experience
• Knowledge of accounting, financial management and auditing
• Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organisational abilities
• Systematic, comprehensive, and displaying excellent attention to detail
• Commitment to the values, principles, policies and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance
• Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
• An ability to work effectively and energetically around a demanding work schedule
• Willingness to go the extra mile, which include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays, where necessary
• Applicants MUST be in possession of a valid driver's licence and a vehicle for daily use
