• Ensuring that professional financial management and accounting policies and systems are developed, implemented, and controlled.
• Oversee the management and control of the assets register.
• Oversee the financial planning and budgeting process.
• Collate, analyse, and prepare financial results.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective management and cost accounting platform.
• Establish and monitor compliance reporting structures, policies, and controls to ensure compliance with IAS, IFRS, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Calculate and post general provisions.
• Perform period end closing.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Finance
• BCom Honours
• CIMA is advantageous

Experience:

• Minimum 3 - 5 years experience as a Financial Manager, preferably in an engineering environment.
• Experience in ERP system, preferably Navision.

Skills & Competencies:

• Advanced MS Office (Word & Excel).
• Knowledge of accounting principles, accounting policies, processes, procedures, statutory and regulatory rules.
• Knowledge of business and credit risk management principles.
• Knowledgeable on debt management system.
• Leadership skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Good at probing facts, challenges, and assumptions.
• Critical problem-solving skills.
• Methodical, organised, precise and accurate.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Socially confident.
