Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a BCom Honours Degree and completed articles (preferably from a small firm) to bring their expertise in financial management, reporting, and analysis.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full financial management function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, management accounts, and year-end financial statements
• Manage and improve financial systems and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Conduct cost analysis, assist with production costing, and support the business in optimizing operational efficiency
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards using Power BI for enhanced decision-making and reporting
• Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring effective team performance and development
• Liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely submission of audit requirements
• VAT returns, tax compliance, and review of general ledger reconciliations

Key Requirements:

• BCom Honours Degree with completed articles (preferably from a small firm)
• 3-5 years of post-articles experience in the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Power BI for financial analysis and reporting
• Strong knowledge of financial management, cost accounting, and compliance requirements
• Experience with financial controls, reconciliations, and month-end processes
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team
