Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial operations, including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation of VAT returns, tax submissions, and regulatory reporting.
  • Support costing, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of finance professionals.
Requirements:
  • BCom Honours or CA(SA) qualification.
  • 5 years post-articles experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, automotive, or related industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Syspro) and tools such as Power BI.
  • Proven experience in VAT returns, BOM calculations, and month-end processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and develop a team.
