Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations, including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Review and analyze financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of VAT returns, tax submissions, and regulatory reporting.
- Support costing, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of finance professionals.
- BCom Honours or CA(SA) qualification.
- 5 years post-articles experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, automotive, or related industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Syspro) and tools such as Power BI.
- Proven experience in VAT returns, BOM calculations, and month-end processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and develop a team.
