Job Description

Our client, a well-established organisation in the services industry, is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team on a 6-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of the organisation, managing a dynamic team, and ensuring that financial processes and reports align with best practices and company objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of financial activities, ensuring effective management and reporting of financial performance, as well as supporting strategic decision-making.Duties:

• Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing clear insights into the financial health of the business.
• Lead and manage a finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Ensure that team members are supported, trained, and mentored to meet their full potential.
• Manage and oversee the groups financial consolidations, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Assist with the development of the companys annual budget and financial forecasting processes, providing critical insights into financial performance and projections.
• Ensure the implementation and adherence to strong internal controls and financial procedures, in compliance with relevant laws and company policies.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Qualifications:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a team management role outside of audit.
• Strong understanding of consolidations and experience in preparing Group-level financial reports.
• Experience with Sage Evolution is a must. Candidates should be comfortable navigating the system for financial data entry, reporting, and analysis.
