A leading car manufacturer is seeking a Financial Manager to join their finance team.As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and manage the Support Services team, ensuring smooth operations across all functions.
- Act as a Bank Signatory, responsible for authorizing EFT payments and updating creditor banking details.
- Oversee journal approvals, POS system management, and the release of purchase orders.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and perform income statement analysis.
- Examine monthly statistical reports and Group charges, including managing VAT submissions for the Group.
- Prepare Quarterly Statistical Reports for STATS SA.
- Oversee year-end audits, Support Services budgets, and assist with Group Consolidation and the preparation of annual financial statements for dormant companies.
- Prepare flash reports, monthly, quarterly reports, and forecasts.
- Provide support to department management with queries and budgeting tasks.
- Compile monthly group support services fringe benefit schedules for company cars for payroll, including deduction schedules.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis (budget vs. actual).
- Ensure the implementation and effectiveness of control procedures.
- Provide ad-hoc support for Group management accounting tasks.
Completed Bcom Hons in Finance
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articlesSkills:
3 - 5 years in similar role
