Job Description


Minimum Requirements

  • BCom Accounting Degree essential
  • Completed Articles advantageous
  • CA(SA) advantageous
  • Minimum three years experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in managing financial activities for a group of companies advantageous
  • Financial analysis, Budgeting, and Financial reporting skills
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with financial management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Duties will include
  • Accountability for financial activities of a group of companies with operations in South Africa and up Africa
  • Group reporting
  • Cashflow management and expenditure control
  • Managing relationships with bankers, external auditors and suppliers
  • Strategic planning, working closely with other members of the Senior Management Team (CEO and COO)
  • Monitoring and strengthening internal control processes and procedures
  • Financial analysis, Budgeting, and Financial reporting
  • Management of all staff in the Finance Department, ensuring a smooth workflow day to day
