• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Review and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the year-end audit and liaise with auditors as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Experience and Skills Required

• BCom degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance.
• Completion of articles with a minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting or finance. Clerks who have completed articles are also welcome to apply.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
