Oversee and manage all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Monitor dealership cash flow, financial performance, and identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
Conduct month-end GL reconciliations.
Develop and implement financial strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
Supervise and support financial staff, debtors/creditors, in fostering a team-oriented environment.
Manage dealership financing programs, vehicle loans, leases, and ensure smooth and compliant financial transactions.
Collaborate with department heads to review financial performance and advise on financial strategies.
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions as necessary.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records and reports, adhering to company and legal standards.
Strong Balance sheet controls, including stock and floorplan management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, ideally within the automotive or dealership environment.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, dealership operations, and accounting software, namely CDK (KeyLoop), eFiling and e@syfile.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, senior management, and external stakeholders.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
