Join my clients' dynamic team as a Financial Manager at a leading Wholesale Steel Company in Pretoria-North. They are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to oversee the full accounting function up to the trial balance, prepare management accounts, manage payroll, draft budgets, and ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and other statutory financial requirements.Responsibilities:Manage the complete accounting function up to the trial balance.Prepare accurate and detailed monthly management accounts.Oversee payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate payments.Develop and draft budgets in alignment with company goals.Submit VAT and tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Manage and submit all other statutory financial returns.Perform general accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting.Completion of articles.Minimum of 3 years post-article experience.Proven experience in managing accounting functions in a similar industry.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Personality Traits, Skills, and Competencies:Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Excellent numerical and analytical skills.Strong ethical values and integrity in financial management.If you are a motivated and experienced Financial Manager with a passion for your work, possess the required qualifications and skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Similar jobs you might be interested in:Location: Pretoria-noord
