Job & Company Description:
The purpose of this role will be to take responsibility for the full finance function of the business.This position will report directly to the CEO and Shareholders.Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop the financial well-being of company by providing the full spectrum of financial services
  • Draft monthly management accounts, and further recommendations
  • Debtors and Creditors Management
  • Cashbook and bank functions management (3 bank accounts)
  • Cash flow management
  • Reporting
  • Liaison with external auditors at year-end, within collaboration with shareholders
  • Establish finance and operational strategies
  • Bookkeeping to balance sheet
  • Prepare annual financial statements
  • Assist with the implementation of new systems
Education:
  • Completed BCom Finance or Accounting Degree
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • 5 to 7 years' experience in a financial controllership role essential
  • Insurance, Financial Services industry experience essential
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong business partnering and reporting skills
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Meticulous attention to detail
