In this role, you will support the finance team and work closely with senior management to drive financial strategy and support business growth.To apply, send your CV to .Duties:

  • Maintaining accurate calculations and up-to-date amortisation schedules for business and specialised lending portfolios.
  • Assisting the operations team with the issuance of invoices and statements for business and specialised lending portfolios.
  • Preparing and finalising trial balances for each division on a monthly basis.
  • Compiling a monthly reporting package for each division to be shared with the CFO, CEO, and other stakeholders.
  • Analysing and tracking key performance drivers of each division to provide external reports.
  • Representing the finance department at monthly operational meetings for these product divisions.
  • Coordinating the budget process for all the mentioned divisions in collaboration with business owners.
  • Handling external financial reporting for these divisions, including input for annual financial statements and regulatory returns.
  • Managing and coordinating responses to internal and external audit queries and deliverables on a monthly basis with the business owner.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Accounting / Finance
  • CA(SA)
Experience:
  • Completed SAICA Articles.
  • At least 3 years general banking industry experience.
  • IFRS9 impairment reporting experience an advantage.
  • 3 Years experience in management reporting.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Accurate and strong attention to detail and analytical capability.
  • Strong communication and management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player with good people management skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to comply with strict deadlines and ability to work in a busy and strenuous environment.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Action orientated and solution driven.
  • A sound knowledge of accounting practice.
